Dog Home

The Dog Home provides rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming services for abandoned, neglected, and injured dogs in the Cagayan de Oro area, operated in partnership with CDO Animal Welfare Society Inc. Our dedicated team of caregivers and volunteer veterinarians ensure every dog receives medical treatment, proper nutrition, and the socialization they need to thrive.

We believe that a compassionate community cares for all its members — including its animals. The Dog Home operates as both a sanctuary for dogs awaiting adoption and an advocacy center that promotes responsible pet ownership through community education programs.

Dogs in our care receive vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and behavioral assessment before being matched with loving forever homes. A daily volunteer dog walking program — staffed by Limketkai janitorial team members — provides exercise and socialization for the dogs, with volunteer wellbeing tracked through mood scores before and after each walk.
